In theory, yes because you should have a better stand thus harvest more ears per acre. In addition to that you should have less volunteer corn issues the following year. Down corn cost needs to be penciled over two years, not one.
Also, you have the potential of a greater yield from an extended grain fill period. Fungicide slows the metabolism of the corn plant allowing for better usage of the balance of the plants heat units.
