Subject: Nitrogen placement with disc drill

SW Manitoba.
We are researching nitrogen placement on disc drills. We have the option of using mid row banders, but they can pull hard and use more fuel than required. We use liquid 28-0-0 nitrogen so we feel safe placing it close to the seed. Does anyone have ay ideas on how to run the liquid pipe behind the seed boot on a disc drill? Should we squirt the N off to the side? And does anyone know anything about using a liquid orifice at the end of the pipe to squirt the nitrogen versus having it gravity drain out of the pipe? your thoughts are appreciated.
