East Central SD | I see license plates at flea markets and antique shops all the time. They seem to range in price from $30-35 for old ones to maybe a couple of bucks for later years. I would guess when you get into the ones from the teens and twenties they may bring somewhere from $30 - $60 /set if a collector is looking for something in particular. As cainfarmer mentioned, if someone has a restored car and wants the plates to match the year the car was built they will pay a premium. Just a rough guess from what I've seen and as with anything condition makes a difference.
