SE South Dakota | Like an earlier poster I have alfalfa that has been down a week and just can't get it dry. Have had showers 4 different evenings. We have not turned it yet since cutting. I was wandering if anyone has made baleage after being rained on. We have always cut and baled the next day when it was 50-65%. Can it be baled with moisture on it from rain or should we let it dry off some? Just don't want to do 100+ bales and have it be junk. It doesn't look to bad yet. Thanks | |
