A buffalo would laugh at 8 strands of barbed wire, not to mention 'exotic' animals. The zoo consultant is right. Fence will be less expensive than a law suit from escaped animals.
That's all they run up here, 7 or 8 strands 6 or 7 ft tall and haven't had any issues unless fence maintenance doesn't happen. Was a couple out a few years back but they had been in a regular 4 wire cow pasture and had nothing more to eat so they found some food. |
