| Suppose for a dollar amount for the year you’d need to come up with an average. But it takes a lot more grass per day at the end then at turn out to maintain the calf and the cow. One could argue that if not real good grass the cow may loose the weight the calf is gaining so would be a wash in that case but is simply a guide. Is the same way with anything really. From feedlot, to pasture, to how many fit in a trailer. | |
