| I have a field where I'm going to switch varieties halfway through and the second variety is significantly shorter season. I don't want the long season corn on the outside to block the timely harvest of the short season corn on the inside so I created a boundary and then set boundary type to "exterior headland" and set the creation method to "Constant Offset" and 120'.
In addition to that, I longer want graincarts driving on the East edge of the field. To make that easier I want to be able to cut a cart path for the carts through the center of the field first thing. This means that not only do I need headland control but I also need to not plant a path in the middle so I need an interior boundary.
The following picture is what I came up with. I have a few questions:
1. Why is the Southeast corner headland not 120' from the boundary like everywhere else?
2. How will I plant the cart path (yellow interior boundary) later on? Do I need to just turn section control off or is there somewhat to turn the interior boundary off without deleting it (so I can use it again next year)?
