Montana | I learned a very good way to build and encourage Children. Ginger Simmons, wife of Four Square Pastor Stan Simmons, shared this on a radio program.
When kids come home from school, they need a lot of love and kindness and maybe a healthy snack, do not question them about their day.
When they have had a snack and a break, it is really good to sit with them as they do homework, listen to them or just sit and look and encourage, help if they ask for it. Make studies fun.
At Bedtime, go sit or lay beside them and pray very openly for them and their lives, then listen to what they pray and then listen about their day, Do not try to fix them, just listen and love them and if they are upset with a classmate, do not ever say anything negative about that person as they may be a best friend forever, tomorrow.
Love Pray and listen to your children as that are bright and brilliant and you need to hear them and mostly hear their hearts.
Have Daddy Daughter dates or days and Father Son days and make sure you enjoy the wonderful of your children. Fill their lives and hearts and minds, with things of Jesus as He is our promise of eternity forever together.
