W.C. MN | I'd agree with what steve1616 said;
Our 40',30" planter is hyd., no auto shut-offs. Not to difficult to get turn on\off point from one to two rows. 90% of our fields are square, which helps. but even an angled end is a 10' ave. overlap with half-width disconnect. (Auto-steer makes timing the end lots easier!) My conservative estimate for my ground would be a .8% overlap on a square quarter that could be saved with a zeroed-in electric row drives. Which still may be worth it, idk.
