Central iowa
Get a 30 series or newer if you like to see your repair man couple extra times a year.. Fan drives, injectors are more touchy, egr, and always pittly carp.. Dad has a 2004 8420 with all the toys except front duals ( added auto steer)and told dad it's dieing on the farm .. Dad farms and run a repair business.. Work on newer tractors more than older- 20 and down.. Dad has had his since 1300 hours, has 4300, so far charged up ils accumulators, changed 1 ils driveshaft( was squeaking bad) 1 logic plate is bad now, regular fluids, 1 alt( Raman) than bearing went bad 13 months after install, asperator fan..
