NW KS | Someone else would have to confirm but in theory, I believe it would be possible to use an autopilot motor drive with trueguide. Unless something has changed with the 2050 trueguide requires an autopilot setup that uses Nav controller. The autopilot motor drive should meet this requirement but I haven't personally ever tried it. It is likely possible but you would want to do some more checking before purchasing anything.
If it is possible to use the autopilot motor drive(APMD) the conversion from ez-pilot to APMD is fairly simple. You can either use your existing ezpilot cable with an adapter to connect to the navII main cable or Trimble has a replacement harness specifically for the APMD setup. Either methods works fine at least for converting from an ezpilot to APMD. Your application could have issues that I am not aware of. | |
