West Michigan | DO NOT dig a hole. I have at least 8 different fields that we farm that they did this. I now get to pick up 15-20 pieces per year (in each field)that have made it to the surface. Didn’t want to take care of it the right way years ago so I get to pick it all up over the next 25 years. Piece of metal snapped the cutter bar on the bean head a few years ago. Only had a couple hundred acres on the platform when it happened. Bent the backbone and screwed everything up!! | |
