Subject: RE: Setting up long range WiFi

Hello Everyone,
Im new to this Community, My Name is Dominic.
I have joined for a lot of reason; but we can have that conversation, one on one.

I own 2 different companies and will soon in the Near future very possibly have a Farm.

So, one of my companies is a TV, Sound, and Camera ( Security ) sales and Installs.
When I dropped in last week, I saw this question; and couldn't wait to Help.

My Suggestion is:
I'm giving you my suggestion from Experinence in this industry for over 12 yrs.

Get a " PORTAL" wifi unit. It is NOT a Wifi extnder, used those when we had no other choice. The Wifi extenders lose you speed and are crap if you want my honest opinion. The Portal is complete different and disigned by 3 IT guys.. It will copy your Wifi foot-print and then be your wifi were ever you need it, the clincher is that it will in Most cases, Double or at minimum give you the exact same speed your getting close to your router now.
These are what I use for distance applications. Each unit will cover up to 2,000 ft of Wifi; 3,000 line of site.
This is in my Home & My offices.
You can use multiple units they Bridge together. Giving your more coverage. Now specs, say up to 6,000; but lets be safe and call it 4.500 line of site is max I have installed with out a Studder...

You can find this unit on Amazon, only for the moment.

I apologize if this is to late.
But at least maybe someone looking will have this information for the future.

contact me at any time if anyone has any questions they would like to run, by me.
