They just never seemed to be up to the challenge at faster speeds over that type of terrain. If you had the same system in a tractor going 5 mph it would probably do an excellent job, but up in the teens over quickly changing terrain is another thing altogether. If you have better luck with it being bypassed, I'd probably leave it that way.
