Subject: RE: Hauling manure when everything is planted pics)

NW Illinois Stephenson county
One year I made a crop of hay off a 25 acre field and then no-tilled corn into it. I hauled an accumulation of manure on it and continued daily haul from 60 milk cows. When the corn was a few inches tall I had it sprayed (it was very grassy) and continued to haul manure on it until the corn was almost a foot tall ( I could straddle the rows) As the grass died the rows of corn appeared. No one ever said a word to me about it. The field was appraised at 190 bu/a. 5+ years later a neighbor mentioned his son who road the school bus by that field every day was surprised to see it become a corn field! Cows keep a pooping whether or not you have place to haul it.
