NE South Dakota Clark, SD | Raven came out with the Viper 4 about 3 years later it was as good as the Viper Pro.
Trimble came out with the TMX-2050 about 3 years later it is close to the FMX, but have to write dumber RX maps to it.
JD came out with the 4600 3 years later it is still missing a bunch of features that the 2630 and even the 2600 had. No GRX prescription support. Have to write separate RX shape files for each product. Again have to write really dumb RX maps compared to the 2630.
This seems to be the trend in the precision ag world. Instead of getting more precise, they are going the other way. But it will interface with an Ipad to display more things. It seems like everyone wants to dispay everything on an over priced PDA instead of make the monitor do more. |
