1680 and straddle duals

I am not for sure, but I think the money would be best spent trying to find a pusher axle. Also, run the tires at the lowest pressure you feel comfortable and keep the weight off.

I have no comparison with straddle duals, but I would be weary of final drive problems. I know of a guy that broke a final drive this fall that has straddle duals on a 1660…I do not know if there are any similarities between the two.

I do think, however, that straddle duals would provide more stability, which could be something you might desire in the future.
