Subject: 0.60” to 0.80”

We got around 0.60” to 0.80” so this takes us up to 3 inches total for the year.

Where our normal is about 5.0” so again we didn’t have..as much as forecasted.. However, this is the second significant rain event since the first part of October last year.
Over the next 45 days.. we normally get another 5" or 6” so like others are saying... we’re good for this week.. but we’ll need more later.

My neighbor who thinks his dry land will only make in the 20s..
My other neighbor who still believes his wheat can make 50 to 60 bushels..

???

Both could still be correct.

We are hearing some concerns about the cold snaps whether or not that’s damaged the wheat.. cosmetic or real ???

We can grow a wheat crop from Tillers.. if it’s cool and wet.

If it’s not going to be cool and wet.. and we have more cold snaps?? That potentially could be very bad.. if it remains dry.. that could be very bad.. if we keep getting what we got this weekend every week to 10 days.. then that on the other side could be very good.. so it just depends on what’s yet to come.

Supposedly the La Niña is breaking down but we need it to end now.. before the Summer pattern sets up. Get some moisture pumped into here to work with for later..
