southern MN | After seeing an F1 race in the rain in austrailia a number of years ago, that was a terrible deal. On paper it sounds good, but in practice the hp those cars make and the rain tires they have pump a lot of water; it makes a spray like a fog on the track and no one can see, it nearly got deadly in Melbourne that year.
Then, the race is for the fans. They really don't get much sitting in the stands in the rain, wet cold and poor visibility.
I've always wanted to see the SnoDrift road rally in Michigan sometime, but then I think about standing around in the woods in January......
