| We are finally getting some corn dry enough to combine (beans are a week away), but I'm still looking at spring tillage (like buying a winter coat in summer type thing). I'm noticing the landsman finishers are getting cheaper. I'm told they pull hard (I'm guessing a 27' or 31' would be all the cat65 would want), are quite heavy and that guys are getting away from them because they don't need to chop up as many weeds due to roundup. I'm just looking to make a good seedbed in some heavy soil and get residue mixed nicely in one pass. My 1st choice is still the dmi tm cultivators, but I've yet to find any priced to fit my operation. Since I am looking for a heavier, high clearance and decently priced tool the landsman catches my eye. Anyone know any reasons these would be less than popular these days?
Thanks,
