Seen one done on a Nissan Patrol. Bracket mounted on the floor between the drivers legs. Was on a locking pivot so you could swing it up to the wheel, with the ezsteer running on the steering wheel between the drivers legs!. Just gotta be sure not to slide forward when the ezsteer was engaged (Ouch!). But it worked great and when you wanted to remove it, the whole thing just pivoted down and lay on the floor, so you could get in and out easily.
