That's still going to make it squawk at you. There really isn't a great way to do it. If you set it up as looking for a SCS 440, it will squawk at you because it's not seeing serial communication too, if I remember right. If you set it as Manual, then it doesn't look for CAN. If you're using the older style SmarTrax, that would be an option, but then only A-B patterns work, it won't track off of Last Pass.
