| That's about what I do. If it's too rough, you can do an offset and drive a set distance alongside. Use a pipe and chain to keep the offset correct.
I also use the size of the tile for a button, such as clay4, or plastic6. Then I can make several different lines, and when imported, they show up in Farm Works as the size I assigned hem. I think it works also with SMS. I'm pretty sure even SMS assigns different colors to each line. Handy when viewing. It's a pain to assign all the buttons all the time, so I use as few different names as I can but still enough I can understand what I am trying to record.
Just make e button a line feature, and record then stop recording each line. Not as nice as being able to strike a straight line line an AB, but it shows up well in software, and if you are trying to find the line later. | |
