Tommy, last year we had some 3 bale cotton. First time ever that it made it to the gin. Back in 2001 we had 3 circles close to each other that all were looking like 3+ bale/acre. But then came a hail storm on Oct 1. Wiped it out! Adjusters guestimated it at 3.5 bale/acre. I sprayed some today that I think will come close to 3 bales. We've been vere close many times. Dryland cotton isn't even making 1/4 bale this year. About 3-4 years ago there was some 5 bale/acre cotton reported. It made cotton growing magazines. Just east of us in the next county theyhave quite a few drip irrigated cotton fields. That stuff will produce 4-5 bale cotton pretty easy. Awsome looking stuff!
