East Central, Nebraska | you don't need a secondary speed source, I never have for 20 years. if your primary fails then you lose speed.
your application point on a planter is where the seed hits the ground. so if its a 3 point planter or hitched I measure from the pin at the connection point to where the seed is dropped. and also you will put in your gps to hitch location that will be from gps to where the hitch pin is your measured from before.
all these offsets will be true unless your feeding gps from some other gps system (which it almost sounds like our not) and that should also stay true unless you already inserted offsets for that other system, such as a different brand autosteer system. if everything your using is agleader from an agleader gps just do it like it says and all will be well.
