Subject: RE: Will I be happy with Raven Cruizer II Autosteer?

Boone, Iowa
I’m using a Cruzier in myQuadtrack and was in a 9170 before that. I calibrate it once a season and does a good job with spring tillage, fall tillage and NH3. I’m using a SmarTrax box and a foot switch, or WAAS signal. I have an E-Pro in my 854 Rogator with the Raven steering box (no SmarTrax box). When spraying preplant product, the Rogator will wander back and forth. This is traveling at 14-16 mph. I’m thinking it has to do with the older hydraulics on the machine and not the different steering box. The only way I would plant with any brand of autosteer would be using an RTK or similar signal.
