South Central Iowa

I think this will be bigger. I think the Soviet embargo was overrated and mostly we suffered from the interest rates of that time. China on the other hand is a major consumer of ag products. But that is because they desire them. Tariffing our pork was one thing, they grow lots of hogs domestically and were planning on growing more anyway. They don't have what it takes to feed those hogs though and cannot grow that domestically. So they actually need us if they want to keep eating pork. Especially this year with poor SA production. Their people will feel this.

I probably won't be able to sleep now, so here are Corn, Soybeans, and Chicago Wheat and their response to the Soviet Embargo.... Tell me that fish story didn't grow over time! lol
