Ft. Ripley MN
Pulled our 8-16 with a maxxum 140 in a pinch in sand and rock soils 6-8 inches deep. Do have spots of clay here and there. Had to in a pinch otherwise it was usally pulled with a Ford 8830 and that tractor just played with it. It's going on a new Holland 8670 and I think it will play with it to. Another thing is which brand of plow you have, ours is a Massey ferguson, them and internationals will pull a lot easier then a Deere plow will. Our 8-16 pulls easier then the pile of crap 4-18 Deere 3610 plow we used to have, never wanted to stay in the ground either. Neighbors a mile from us with all clay ground pull a ih 10 bottom with there Deere 8760
