NW KS/ SC ID | I think I would forgo the paint and put the paint money into proper (or slightly more proper. :) ) radiator repair.
Check the right side where the intake tube goes over the radiator. If not padded, it can rub a hole in the intake tube, and crack or rub a hole in the top tank.
On our 7060 it cracked the tank, JB weld (only slightly better alternative over stop leak... :) ) and now she holds pressure and no longer leaks.
That tube is under suction, so make sure there is no wear hole in it, as that will dust the motor. | |
