Subject: ISO Round Baler

Southern Illinois
We are looking at buying a round baler, probably a New Holland or Vermeer. Willing to consider older models like the BR750 or BR770. This will be our first round baler and I was wanting to know if there were any models that really stood out. We will be putting it on a Ford 6610 with 70 PTO horsepower. Want to be sure we don’t get a baler too big, but we would like a baler that will do up to 6 feet in diameter. Is 5 feet wide to big for that tractor? Also, is there a width that is preferred by people who pay for custom baling? We would like it to do net wrap and having a monitor would be preferable. We don’t need anything extra fancy though. Would love it to stay under $15,000. Thanks in advance.
