Pickens | For 30+ years I have...3 trane units...
One for the office (Split ton and half), and two for the other 3000sq feet...(3 ton Split AC only Tranes).
Professional install type for the office with in grill filters, but a simple hanging of the air handler in the shop area...with a filter box on the return, and simply "blowing" from the 14Ft ceiling into the opening...works really well...
I have had to replace only 1 of the condensor units in this time frame...(for office), and bought a cheap replacement Goodman 2 ton.
