Subject: RE: Spout in harvestore

NW IL
Harvestore dealer has put one in each side of our 25 x 43 up quite a ways. They are like the doors on the top with the cam lock handles. I think they would support at least some grain pressure. Have used a 8 x 61' on one side to fill with mostly dry corn, and now have it set up as wet holding tank for drier & used a 10 x 71 SAW on the opposite side. Don't have to be far into & it will fling corn pretty much into center until pretty well up to auger height. No head on top end, but I just bolted a mostly flat piece of tin on one side of auger so it just didn't throw to the closest side (kind of a baffle).
Used to fill with blower. Worst problem was getting wagons up to blower as had to back them in & was muddy usually on north side of structure.
Don't think was too expensive, but was done quite a few years ago on 2 separate occasions.
