WCIL | With the belt loose, you should be able to use a pry bar to check up and down play on the top pulley. Ours was pretty loose, but no chatter. Had it through a JD inspection and mechanic went around and showed us everything. We also had to replace the front plate as it was worn. I don't remember the cost as we had some other things done too. We also had the water pump replaced while there as a preventative. May want to check into that. You know, because at 2200 hours everything on ours was getting worn out. A little sarcasm towards Deere. Not a good deal for us. | |
