Subject: K sources

Pocahontas, IA
This is a question is paralleling the "P and K Usage" one below.  I was at a meeting a couple weeks ago that talked about the sources for K.  Essentailly KCL(Potash) should be avoided like the plague as it formed formaldehyde within the soil.  Better sources were  K2SO4 or K2NO3.  Does anyone have some knowledge to share about this.  Thanks
