I use a radio called Quicktalk that is mounted on the dryer. It uses a relay to trip the radio. So on the dryer I have a powered relay, and when the dryer shuts off it trips the radio. You can program the radio to your frequency. You can also record any message you want on it. You can set it to repeat the message as often as you want. It runs on batteries or hardwired. I have it just on batteries so if a fuse would blow the radio will trip. The radio is 1/4 watt radio, they also make a 4 watt version. I'm on UHF repeater system. My repeater is 4 miles away on a grain elevator and works fine.
