Nevada, Iowa | I don't want to hijack this discussion but I am curious about wind speed in different areas. Several times a years we will see sustained winds in the 50-60 mph category. I think we will see wind shear in thunderstorms exceed 80mph+. I just assumed that most of the "prairie" states were like this. What do you guys call a good blow?
Around "here" if it couldn't take a 50 mile wind, it wouldn't last a year, in my opinion. | |
