Western ND | Driving excersizes are always fun, set up a course to run and back into. Make everyone run every truck so they get used to how they handle. We have had pump specialists in to teach pump operation, which was very informative to all. Some larger city departments will have training courses they will come and do. We had a foam class with a propane burn unit to play with, burn trailer to simulate house fires, extraction courses. We have also played games where you have to direct a foam jug through cones a certain distance away using only the nozzle on the hose. Indoor obstacle course with full gear and packs with a hose and partner while blind folded during the winter is fun too. | |
