Hallsboro NC | Look for auctions close to you websites like auctionzip should pull up something. Small older combines are dirt cheap in my area. That being said cheap doesnt mean best. you could get a 20 series deere with heads for probably around 3-5000. Most machines in that age in the south will probably have a 36-38inch head. I curently run a JD 6620 its been a good machine for me. I think they are probably one of the harder ones to work on if something goes wrong. Before I bought a older small machine I would check parts availability. I live close to a junk yard that has piles of junk JD combines, I haven't bought a part for mine from the dealer in a long time. Good luck shopping! | |
