Eastern Montana
I dont know much about that series or how similar they are to the newer ones. We are now running a 900 and very happy so far, but we were also happy with our 890 before that. The engine hours wouldnt worry me really if it has had the proper maintence. That size should fit your operation rather well, you must have a pretty good window on silage to get 400 acres done, what tonage?. also what kind of tonnage are you shooting for on your snaplage, or earladge as we call it in this area? We cant get a big enuf head for earlage on the machine, nor can we get enuf haylage infront of that machine to say we are using the full machines potential. silage yes we can.... haha Just curious after looking at that site and the tractors they have listed, are any of them imported from europe?
