I can't remember ever getting a tank where the gauge didn't work. Was it maybe off by a few percent, possibly, but IMO they are accurate I shouldn't run out on the other end of the field. IE when I do it's my fault, not the gauge.

I haven't actually tracked it, but my gut says there is a pretty good correlation between full % and pounds available from the tank. Maybe someday I'll note each one and log it. Yeah right.

Back to my point, any tank at <82% I consider part full, not full enough, unless I know I only need a part tank.
