This guy lives less than 20 miles from us. Several neighors have hit holes in the corn fields where bears were hibernating. Unheard of 10 years ago. A hunter has a couple cameras in the woods nearby and has photos of 2 different bears. This is within a mile of Interstate 94 and 3 miles of a city of 15,000 population.
