Leesburg, Ohio | We use a yellow-top Optima and a cheap regular battery charger set on low. I turned an old plastic cooler upside-down over top of the battery and charger to keep the weather off of them. All sitting on the platform at the peak of our tallest grain bin, with the globe bolted to the handrail, and co-ax cable running up a pipe to the radio antenna on top of the leg. Been there mostly untouched now for about ten years. Had to patch power cable to globe once, when coons chewed it up. | |
