Subject: RE: Twin Rows vs. Narrow Rows

Southwest Missouri
We have had twin rows for 10 years. We usually do at least one check against 30s every year and have never seen the 30s wins. On average we have seen a 7.5 bushel advantage over 30s. I think stock quality and stand ability is a bigger advantage than the yield. We have had almost no down corn since we switched and I also think weed control is a little better due to the canopy closing quicker.
