Donnellson, IA. Makes saying here easier.
We have similar issues. 1-2% even at that 200+ mark. We always struggled to keep tissue samples high in reproductive times. Went to strip till 30" beans and here that works very well. It overloads that band with K enough we have excellent results. 30's are a bit wide for your region though. I keep saying I'm going to build a 15" shallow planed coulter rig or switch to and air setup with multi tube for my 15" guys and drill for them. Just a thought. Never tried kts but I think it would help. Not sure on ROI never priced it but I would try a few acres and you would know more.
