| I am a cropping systems researcher looking to upgrade a planter to electric drives. If it helps I will be putting them on MaxEmerge 5 row units with vacuum seed delivery and have a JD 2630 and iPad monitor (for Dawn's Reflex/MiFx) in the tractor cab. What electric drives should I be looking at?
Precision Planting, AgLeader, and Graham seem like the market leaders. Others I should be considering? Top priorities are 1) durability, 2) ease of use, and 3)product & technical support. I would love to hear people's good and bad experiences with electric planter drives and working with various companies.
