I had the same problem on my 7020 when I bought it many years ago. It would run hot and you could hear a small knock under a heavy pull. We could never figure it out until it got bad enough that we decided to tear down the engine. That engine only had a Bosch A pump and was low horsepower around 150-170 Hp. Maybe the dampner had something to do with it like mentioned in the earlier thread.
