That is the era of the formula engines, and I can't be of specific help to you but can point out an area to look into... As I understand it , the formula engines had a crank made of differing metallurgy then the NTC's etc, and was a weaker crank. If you can't find out which engine or series your replacement was built for call the telephone number on the quickserve sight as they have been very helpful in looking up information.
