Raven has made vast improvements in their software to minimize the effects roll has on the boom. They refer to it as anti-oscillation. If one side dips or lifts quickly, the opposite side reacts accordingly to prevent the booms from fighting each other. For example, if one side drops, typically the other side will lift. This reaction is prevented with the improved software.
