East Central, Nebraska | a typical demon of omnistar, rtx, terrastar, sf3 and any other sat based corrections is the the necessity to wait for convergence. its just how it is. if in the circumstance you waited forever and still never got the correction at that point i would check to see if your getting any sats. if not, no service is going to help you out. if you are, then id make a call to omnistar.
as for digifarm, i am confident you would have far better luck due to absolutely no convergence time. you hit start on the app or get all the lights on the modem and you have full rtk. problem you run into it is likely if your using omnistar in the first place you are likely not unlocked for RTK. unlocks can be pricey but the good news is if you unlock to rtk and show digifarm the reciept they will give you a free year subscription. if your already unlocked then it is very easy to make the switch especially if your paying omni a $1650 subscription fee. youll save $750 a year while having true sub inch rtk and year to year repeatable accuracy instead of the 2-4 inch your getting from omni with little repeatable accuracy.
