In order to update the Drone you need to hook up the drone to the computer. You need to have DJI assistant 2 app installed on computer. For the controller you need to have it hooked to either iPhone or IPad. Must have DJI go app on iPhone. YouTube has some really good videos on how to update. Any questions let me know.

thats not true, you can update by connecting your phone or ipad to the drone too. I am not sure how that works with the advanced. but I update my p4p with my phone connected directly to the drone |
